Difference between Neptune and installing KDE on Debian ?
I am new to Neptune

What is the difference between installing KDE on Debian Stretch and Neptune ?

We ship with Debian Stretch Backports on by default which delivers newer kernel and drivers.
Also Neptune ships with the current Plasma LTS (5.12) instead of the older LTS (5.8) which offers newer software with more features and bugfixes.

By default Neptune is optimized for desktop usage. So we tweak the system in terms of memory usage for the usual desktop scenarios.
