If unlocking certain apps for administrative actions doesn't work try this:

deb http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ intrepid main restricted universe multiverse

add this as software repository and upgrade the following packages (use Synaptic Pakagemanager ZevenOS -> System)

policykit

policykit-gnome

libpolkit2

libpolkit-gnome0

After installation deactivate the software repo.
Everything should work fine again.
