Smile Sound card with AV200 chipset
Hello, I have been having trouble with noise on my sound since the upgrade in April. Found it today.

Force the card to use 24-bit 192 kHz sampling and you are ok.

Just mention it so no one else has to search this long(granted I haven't had time to spend that many hours on it in actual time though).

Add these lines to /etc/pulse/daemon.conf

resample-method = speex-float-7
default-sample-format = s24le
default-sample-rate = 192000

Regards

DDS

RE: Sound card with AV200 chipset
Seems Im not out of the wood, check DAC filter, Select "Slow Roll". It still flipps over on the DA though. Change output to and brack from analog output speaker and Headphones will flipp it back again.

Something changed in the kernel from 4.15.x!?
