RE: USB Install
Can you please elaborate on this ?
What did you try to enter ? What was the output ?

Can you remove quiet splash from the bootline to get a more detailed log.

edit: Please try this initrd2.img that you can replace on your unetbootin created neptune live stick from the /live/ directory

RE: USB Install
Hi,

Thanks for the file. I tried out and provide screens again to solve the issue.

First I copied the new file into the USB stick and run the computer, selected Neptune Live (Deutsch), take TAB to delete the "quiet" word from the command.
The result is picture DSC_0396.jpg

In the next step, I added the line " live-media=/dev/sdb1 " and deleted the word "quiet" again. The result is picture DSC_0397.jpg
(I hope sdb1 is correct, I have a SSD and the USB stick only)

RE: USB Install
At least it found your live stick now as it seems. The modules.dep Problem might be something related to newer drivers in the initrd I attached in contrast to your live system.
I will upload a new testing ISO today with this new initrd which will hopefully up in a few hours and will work for you.

RE: USB Install
Thank you for a new ISO file. I tested again, but I get a similar error.

Why does he want to load the ntfs driver? The USB stick works with fat32.

RE: USB Install
Apparently you have an ntfs filesystem somewhere. Though I cannot explain why it is caught in that loop yet.
Maybe it is hardware related. Did you try booting the live usb stick on a different hardware yet?

RE: USB Install
It was possible to boot with an other computer. I don't know whats happen with my Panasonic. If I take Ubuntu 14.04 or Debian 8.1, works without any issues. Therefore, I will move to Debian, but it's possible to copy the nice design from Neptune into my Debian 8.1 with KDE?

If it's possible, which files should I copy?

RE: USB Install
Yeah that's possible just take a look at the sources of our neptune-base package. There you will find the design aswell.
Icons however packaged as nepune-faenza-icons-minimal.
