No browser sound
I cannot get any sound from either Chromium browser or Iceweasel browser. I have sound when I go into KDE Mixer>Settings>Audio Setup and select the preferred playback device and run Test. But when I try to play anything in the browser window, there is no sound.

RE: No browser sound
Do you have more than one sound output ?
As Chromium and Iceweasel tend to ignore the kde settings alltogether they might use what the sound driver set as default audio output on your soundcard.

You can check the default card with running the command in terminal
Code:
arecord -l

This will give you a list of detected soundcards/sound output devices. Usually the first listed with index 0 is the default one.
