Rainbow ZevenOS3 on Dell Latitude D810
Hy all,
Installation on my daughter's Dell laptop went quite smooth - and everything standard worked out of the box. I haven't tried wireless yet - but t ouchpad, and the blue mini joystick within the keyboard work just fine, so does sound and graphics.
Encountered that keyboard error that was described by after in his thread. I used the "find keyboard" button underneath the line where you can try your keyboard layout. I got offered various keys that I all typed in at my keyboard. I got a couple of small screens with letters to type in on my keyboard - then my keyboard selection got highlighted again - and I could test type my keyboard - after that install went smooth. So I guess it is some kind of automatic keyboard configuration error - since I couldn't use my keyboard on the LiveCD - trying to type in a web address on Firefox.
All in all some great work for such a small team!!
Also a big thank you at Leszek and his team to answer all comments and statements so quickly at this forum.
