this has probably been asked before, couldn't figure out what terms to search...

is there a way to change the deskbar links to point to other applications?

The Deskbarlinks are globally set by the appropriate links in MAGI 2.
Example: Just change the Browser link in MAGI 2 by clicking on the label Browser (mousecursor changes to edit symbol) and it will automatically change the link in the Deskbar aswell.
