md5sum on my 2009 summer copy ov ZevenOS v1.9 produces:
7b63842034ef7fc08d71cf608251eb1f ZevenOS-1.9-desktop-i386.iso

what md5sum do YOU get for YOUR copy of the v1.9 ISO ?

Took way too long to get md5sum for that earlier late-2008 release, so am looking to ForumVisitors to post reply with their own file-check-number.

---HOWTO---Generate---MD5SUM---
$ md5sum ZevenOS-1.9-desktop-i386.iso >> ZevenOS-1.9-desktop-i386.iso.MD5 && cat *MD5

Once we see about three md5sum REPLYs posted (not necessarily agreeing with mine) then we should EDIT THIS THREAD TITLE to make it read as a statement, instead of a question.

Not lifting a finger on this distro until I can use correct md5sum to verify the image arrived correctly. That way I do not waste a CD, and more importantly, I do not waste TIME.

I review at least TEN distros per month, so I vote ZevenOS include/publish this simple aid in future.

Ironic: the BeOS had md5sum amongst its gnu utils
ZevenOS 1.9 was a testing preview release for 2.0 . It had the original Md5 Sum posted in the torrent comment.
But you are right, I can make it more clear by posting the md5 sum on the downloadpage. I will do this Wink

btw. here is the original md5 sum: 7b63842034ef7fc08d71cf608251eb1f

Thanks for the info .
