Full Version: Install with 160MB RAM?

I am trying to install ZevenOS 1.1 on an older computer, which currently has Xubuntu 8.10 and BeOS on it. The Live CD stops just after setting the power management level, while the installer eventually drops me off at a "user@ZevenOS" command prompt. Is there any way to work around my low memory problem? I couldn't find a text install option on the disc. Huh

I tested the disc on my modern computer and it works fine.

Thanks! Smile
You need at least 196 MB RAM, because the Ubuntu Installer ubiquity that we're using requires that much otherwise it wont work.
There is no text installer avaiable.
That's too bad... Sad

Thanks!
Ubuntu Installer ubiquity require more than 160MB RAM for good performance.
