ZevenOS-Neptune 1.8 erschienen

Wir sind froh euch die Finale Version von ZevenOS-Neptune 1.8 ankündigen zu können.

Haupfeatures sind das komplett neue User Interface mit zeebar und xfce4-panel. Kernkomponenten wie MAGI , MAGI 2, Encode und andere wurden aktualisiert. Zudem wurde hinzugefügt der grandiose Videoeditor OpenShot sowie der ZevenOS-Hardwaredriversmanager. Alles in allem ist dies das bisher beste Release das wir veröffentlicht haben und verdient zurecht den Codenamen “Next Gen”.

   Im confused…

   ZevenOS 2.0; ZevenOS Neptune 1.8…

   Which one is the one to go???

   Shouldnt you guys just focus on one project? I guess that would save a lot of resources and provide the best possible result of a stable and clean operating system…

   Nevertheless congrats for the release

   ZevenOS 2.0 is our main release.
   ZevenOS-Neptune 1.8 is a community based branch with a slightly other focus. It is meant to be more stable and longer supported.
   As we have a 1 year cycle for ZevenOS, we have the time and ressources in between to develop and maintain ZevenOS-Neptune aswell.
   As long as the community is supporting it will survive.
