ZevenOS 2.0 Upgrade notice
Allgemein May 3rd, 2010
Since the release of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS the update manager, allows for upgrading to 10.04.
Be aware ZevenOS 2.0 is not compatible with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and shouldn’t be upgraded to this version!
ZevenOS 2.0 is based on Xubuntu 9.10 and the next version 3.0 will be shipped November 2010.
You can disable the upgrade notice in Synaptic packagemanager > Settings > Repositories > Updates.

Wäre schon dafür, das es eine Vorabversion geben sollte. Ähnlich wie mit der 1.92…

I noticed… it makes sense to figure upgrading it to Xubuntu 10.04 LTS would wipe out the ZevenOS settings – not good.
This OS is still light years ahead of HaikuOS for casual users…. the new latter new Alpha2 release still has no encrypted wireless support configurable by a GUI and the menus are a mess – they list file names with no clue for a new user what they are and what they do. It has potential but its still a long way from making BEOS truly user-friendly.
