Kudos to ZevenOS-Neptune 4.0 community for creating a wonderful distro! In the past several months I have been trying different KDE distros…seeking speed, stability, and functionality. At the top of my list (July 2014) I have discovered ZenvenOS-Neptune and KaOS. They are both outstanding but for different reasons and users will need to discover what works best for them. Personally, I find that Neptune 4.0 is much more configurable and with a user friendly/compatible office suite (LibreOffice).
Why no ARM version ?
Why no MIPS version ?
Why no version with Hurd kernel ?
Why no version for my i386 ?
Its a decision we made that cpus which don’t support 64bit aren’t supported by our distribution as they don’t fulfill the minimum system requirements for the software to run good.
That means the desktop, video & audio playback and editing software would not run good on those chips. As we want to provide the best experience for our users we had to make this decision.
