This tip is all about renaming files.

You might now how to rename one single file. But what happens if you want to rename multiple files. For example a music album with mp3s that start all with the track number. If you want to delete those track numbers simply mark them all and right click and choose rename. This will fire up the bulk rename tool which allows you to simply change the filename for multiple files the way you want it.

We are proude to announce the release of ZevenOS 1.9 a preview release for version 2.0

The underlying system has been updated to Ubuntu Jaunty (9.04) which brings speed improvements and new hardware support.

Consider this version as a preview version which is not as stable as version 1.1.

Version 1.9 is recommned for developers and techgeeks. Beginners should stick to version 1.1
